Production Manager (City Food Concepts)

Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for all aspects bakery production with a primary focus on the coordination of catering production, daily production, shipping and delivery process, and quality control for Bakery, Central Kitchen and AS Deli Kitchen. Moreover, supplies all ordering to all bakery outlets with accurate quantity and standard quality.


- Drawing up of Production Schedule; Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure quality products are produced for our customers.
- Takes full responsibility in ensuring that all products produced under the supervision is wholesome, healthy and free from contaminations (food poisoning) and safe
- Inspecting bakery items to ensure that established standards on quality, uniformity, and aesthetic appeal are met
- Maintain effective relations with the concern business units (Materials Management, Warehouse, Sanitation, and Maintenance).
- Monitoring the Production Processes and adjusting schedules as needed. Assure the product of quality expectations by maintaining and managing controls and continual personal inspection of production and process.
- Supervising and motivating a team of workers. Seek ways to improve the process and quality while reducing costs.
- Track Resource needs. Tracks projects and resources to ensure on time delivery. Follow all company policies and procedures as well as Good Production Practice.
- Monitor sanitation’s performance to ensure quality, safe products are produced within our facility.
- Reviews customer specifications to ensure Quality programs are designed and implemented to adhere to these requirements.
- Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity and respect.
- Establish and maintains effective working relationship with co-workers, customers and suppliers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Bakery Manager.

Job Requirements

- Proven experience at production management field in bakery & food manufacturing industry
- Deep knowledge of production management and understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and English literacy
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills and strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
